Saltverk Flaky Sea Salt is a coarse-grained, mineral-fresh sea salt produced exclusively using energy from geothermal hot springs in northwest Iceland.

Our salt production process is based on an old method from the 17th century, which is also practiced in Reykjanes.

Geothermal energy is the only energy source we use, which means we leave no carbon footprint in the environment throughout the entire process.
